Positano has been on my bucket list since the first time I saw a picture of it and boy oh boy did it exceed every expectation I had! This was my very first time in Italy and I can officially say, I am completely and utterly IN LOVE with this exquisite country.

The drive from the airport along the Coastline was something to never be forgotten. Driving around the windy roads through Sorrento and then all the way through to Positano. The colourfull-ness of all the houses and the narrow, bougainvillea lined streets were truely unforgettable.

I am very unorganised at the best of times and booking this getaway was no different (unfortunately) so Myles and I were not left with many options of hotels at it was so busy. In saying this, the villa we booked was immaculate! We stayed at the beautiful Residence Villa Yiara. We had our own terrace and the most amazing view where we sat and had our breakfast and coffee every morning.

We ate delicious Italian food, swam in the crystal clear water & sipped delicious cocktails on the cliff. One of our favourite restaurants was Cafe Positano & our must-see bar is 'Franco's Bar'. If you go to Positano you must visit both of these places. One thing no one ever mentioned to us was how many stairs there are in Positano. To get anywhere means stairs, stairs and more stairs. There are, ALOT... but don't worry, they are SO worth it!

Already counting down the days until I am back here! Until next time!!!!
